We’ve never been prouder to work with these brands

As the UK enters its third week in lockdown one thing that’s more apparent than ever is the power of collective action. There have been daily reminders that community spirit and kindness shine a light in dark times. The weekly Clap for our Carers, news of 750,000 applicants to the NHS volunteer scheme, and tens of thousands of retired medics returning to work, is humbling.

Community spirit hasn’t been limited to personal endeavours, either. We’ve seen businesses using their power to act for greater good; responding to Coronavirus with initiatives spanning sectors and approaches, but all driven by the same desire to help.

We’ve never been prouder to work alongside clients demonstrating such compassion in these times. There are too many to highlight in one article, so we’re sharing a handful of those initiatives which – quite frankly – made us feel warm and fuzzy inside.

1 / Novartis

Novartis is donating up to £130 million doses of hydroxychloroquine, the drug under trial for COVID-19.

2 / Diageo

Diageo has pledged eight million bottles of hand sanitiser to help protect frontline workers globally, and donated £1 million to support bartenders in Britain.

3 / Heinz

Heinz is providing 12 million free breakfasts to disadvantaged children following the closure of schools.

4 / Google

Google has announced an $800+ million commitment to support small and medium sized businesses, health organisations and governments, and health workers on the frontline of the pandemic.

5 / McDonalds

McDonalds partnered with tech platform Food Drop to distribute food from its restaurants to food banks and charities across the UK and Ireland.
